New day in Egypt

Undoubtedly the protesters feel a sense of success as the former president of Egypt steps down.  Was the violence really effective?  Was even one human life worth the result they gained?  The chaos that reigned in Egypt definitely brought International attention to the plight of the people and created immense diplomatic pressure on the ruling regime , yet was this the best course of action?

The historic city of Cairo bears the scars of the peoples revolt , but it will all fade.

While the unofficial death toll sits at 300 lives , some say it could easily be 2-3 times more:

While i applaud the people of Egypt for demanding what their hearts tell them is right , i only hope they honestly get what they wanted and not some sham sense of appeasement.
