How would you react if you saw a mob of armed men rushing towards you? The authorities are clearly outnumbered yet they still drive the crowd onward.
It's especially sleazy since a lot of the riots break out on the Pro-Mubarak side. They know he has no choice, and they're pissed off. And even then, a lot of them are being PAID off.
ReplyDeleteI think more protesters ought to study ancient Greek warfare styles. In Greece they knew how to deal with an oncoming phalanx of men armed with long shields and striking weapons or spears. There are ways to break those lines that our culture has forgotten.
